These ruggedly constructed 11.5 gallon batch filters offer a convenient mode of dewatering slurry samples and process concentrates. A filter cloth and paper are tightened between the body and the waffle grid base; the slurry is poured into the chamber; the top swing away lid is handwheel secured, and air pressure is applied until the liquid stops eminating from the drain pipe.
The cake can be removed after lowering the handwheel base. The sloping waffle-grid surface of the base insures unhindered drainage.
Chamber is 12" dia. x 24" high. Complete with gauge, bleed valve, 1/4" connective piping, air feed valve, pressure relief safety valve, pressure gauge, cloth and pkg. of filter paper. Filter cloth is fabricated of layers of flannel-backed cotton duck. The filter paper paper has high wet strength rated at 2 micron retention. SW: 400 lbs. Dimensions: 24"W x 13"D x 64"H.
