This instrument is used to measure the melt flow index of thermo-plastic.It is necessary to measure the melt index and flow index as an indication of flow properties when forming thermoplastics. Weight of specimen to be extruded through a specified orifice for a specified period of time under prescribed conditions of pressure and temperature is measured and expressed as the flow rate. This machine can perform 1-cycle automatic test with cleaning device.
