The
AEROTRAK™ Optical Particle Counter is an addition to TSI’s
full line of real-time particle measuring instruments including photometers
for mass concentration, condensation particle counters for ultrafine particles
and diffusion charging with electrometer signal for surface area measurement. |
Typical applications include cleanroom
monitoring, research, exposure assessment, indoor air quality, filter
testing, clearance testing, quality assurance and contaminant migration
studies. |
The AEROTRAK Model 8220 is a lightweight,
handheld particle counter that operates on the included lithium-ion battery
or AC power. The AEROTRAK Model 8220 has a 0.1 CFM or 2.83 lpm flow rate
and counts in 1 to 6 user-adjustable bin sizes from 0.3 to 10 microns.
Over 100,000 data sets can be stored and downloaded for analysis and reporting
using the included TrakPro™ Data Analysis Software. The AEROTRAK
Model 8220 comes with a three-year warranty and meets JIS standards. |

contamination, both from a quality assurance perspective and in terms
of the health and safety of individuals. In some cases, existing regulations
must be met. Other times, guidelines prescribe best practices, often based

is a necessity. The AEROTRAK Particle Counter is the newest addition to TSI’s family of real-time particle measuring instruments. It joins a full line of instruments—including photometers for mass concentration measurements, condensation particle counters for ultrafine particles, and instruments for nanoparticle surface area measurements— that TSI has been providing for nearly 40 years. Typical applications include cleanroom checking, indoor environmental research, human exposure assessment, indoor air quality, filter testing, clearance testing, quality assurance and contaminant migration studies. The AEROTRAK Model 8220 Particle Counter is a lightweight 2.2 lb (1 kg) handheld device that operates on AC power or a lithium-ion battery. The 8220 has a 0.1 cfm (2.83 lpm) flow rate and 6 useradjustable bin sizes. These instruments can be used with an optional thermal printer. More than 100,000 data sets can be stored and downloaded for analysis and reporting using TRAKPRO™ Data Analysis Software from TSI. AEROTRAK particle counters come with a three-year warranty and meet JIS standards. These particle counters have an optional probe for temperature/humidity measurements, giving you multiple parameters in a single instrument. |
