The V2TH Satellite Antenna provides a high-performance
satellite data telemetry link for hydrological and meteorological data
transmission.
The V2TH’s design virtually eliminates all existing problems that
occur with other available antenna technology. Its ability to operate
through the destructive forces of severe weather has been proven, as
it has withstood the extreme freezing temperatures of the arctic, hurricane
force winds in the tropics and been buried in the snow of mountainous
regions.
The V2TH’s small size gives users great latitude in the selection
of mounting options. The V2TH can be suspended or mounted inside nonmetallic
protective structures, or mounted outside on a building, post or tower.
When mounted inside a building, nonmetallic materials such as painted
plywood, window glass, plastic, tar paper, or fiberglass shingles have
little or no effect on a radiated signal. For adjustable exterior mounting,
the V2TH Elevation Mount is available.
This mount is designed to clamp to vertical poles using either U-bolts
(2" provided), straps or hose clamps. The V2TH Elevation Mount
can also be mounted to a wall or other flat surfaces.
