Block Caps provide a new un-bonded capping system for compression testing of concrete masonry units. The cap is a composite of an engineered high density EPS which is laminated to tough plastic sheeting that distributes the test load evenly. No retainer, no melting, no mixing, no cutting is required.
Accurate and consistent test results are comparable to units capped with gypsum.
Pad caps for block come in two sizes, 8 inch or 12 inch wide by 16 inches long.
