Powder coated stainless steel outer body construction for durability and corrosion resistance.
Model 1640 holds one drum with a total capacity of 142, 16mm tubes; 76, 25mm tubes; Or 60, 50mm tubes; drum angle adjusts from 5° above horizontal to 90°; solid state speed controller adjusts from 5 to 70 rpm. (Drum and rotator bodies are ordered separately. )
Model 1645 holds two drums with total capacity of 284, 16mm tubes; 152, 25mm tubes; or 120, 50mm tubes; constant speed motor with built-in gear reducer maintains 12 rph (0.2 rpm) rotation; drums can be lifted off rollers without interrupting operation of unit; adjusting screw on unit base varies angle of elevation. (Drums and rotator bodies are sold separately.)

OPERATION

Variable speed and adjustable angle rotation for optimum culture results in such applications as growth of tissues and viruses, hormone production from selected tissues, sample testing for the presence of viruses and cytotoxicity assays.
Pilot light indicates when unit is on.
Operates in standard incubators for cultivation under controlled temperature conditions up to 40°C.
