Countermat Flash

The Countermat Flash is an optically patented unit, which works in conjunction with a PC to carry out the automated counting or colonies on Petri plates, spread plates as well as all the various spiral-inoculated plates. The simplicity, accuracy and price of Countermat Flash make it a true alternative to manually counting plates.

ALL KINDS OF COLONIES...
Doesn't matter what kind of colonies are you counting, the instrument comes with a high definition coulour camera which detects colonies of 1/170 in. approx.

IN DIFFERENT MEDIA TYPES CAN BE COUNTED
The flash unit has a new and patented illumination device. The illumination of the plate is done through a reflection ring, which can be set at different positions in order to achieve the best illuminatio of the colonies from the background.

CONNECTIVITY AND USE OF THE ILLUMINATION
Countermat Flash is an instrument to be used in conjunction with Windows® 95/98/NT4.0/2000 personal computer like any other accessory. All the information generated by the Flash such as recount results or Petri dish images can be exported to any software like data base, spread sheets or word processors.
