% SATURATION OR CONCENTRATION MODE

At the push of a button, the meter switches measurement mode from mg/l or ppm to % saturation.

USER CUSTOMIZATION

Custornization functions include: % saturation, mg/I or ppm mode, hold, auto-off, barometric and salinity correction, automatic temperature compensation, electrode diagnosis, user reset and restore to factory defaults.

PRESSURE AND SALINITY COMPENSATION

Barometric pressure and salinity values can be manually input in the meter. The meter automatically adjusts for necessary compensation, thus eliminating the need for cumbersome charts.

EASE IN CALIBRATION

For 100% or 0% saturation calibration, simply press the CAL button. Calibration for mg/I or ppm modes can also be performed using a known oxygen concentration solution or reference DO meter.

GALVANIC ELECTRODE WITH BUILT-IN TEMPERATURE SENSOR

Galvanic cell technology allows instantaneous measurements without waiting for the probe to be polarized as in the case with amperometric electrodes. The rugged galvanic electrode is optimized for stable response and is able to withstand the rigors of portable use. It requires little or no maintenance and has a built-in sensor for automatic temperature compensation. Membrane replacement is simplified by our single-piece membrane cap.

ELECTRODE DIAGNOSIS

Condition of electrode can be viewed through the setup menu. This makes it easier for the user to check the efficiency of the probe.

INNOVATIVE DESIGN

The Acorn' DO 6 meter is ergonomically designed for convenient one-handed operation. The ribbed body ensures firm grip preventing meter from slippage.

PROTECTIVE RUBBER BOOT

A sturdy rubber boot protects the meter from damage. The tilt stand at the back of the boot allows for easy benchtop viewing.

RUGGED, ALL-WEATHER CARRYING CASE

A custom-built rugged carrying case provides convenient storage of meter, electrode, refilling solutions and accessorieshelpful for field testing.
