Dissolution Tester
Model 10ST

The new Caleva dissolution tester 10ST follows the quality standards of the previous 9ST which is in use at many pharmaceutical plants worldwide but offers up to date functions and state of the art technology.Test parameters are entered via the numeric membrane keypad. All entered data and test parameters shown during the test are displayed by the illuminated 4-line LC display. To eliminate all vibration transferred to the one-piece moulded PET water bath (1000 ml version only), the powerful 2000 watt flow-through heating system is separate.

The USP/EP glass vessels (8) with 1000 or 2000 ml volume area centred automatically and are covered by membrne sealed vessels covers which ensure very low evaporation.Height adjustment of the stirrers (6, 7 or 8 as required) is also automatic. Due to the separable shafts and stirring elements, one stirrer (e.g. paddle) can be unsrewed from the saft and replaced by another one (e.g. basket).

In addition, the 10ST offers an accousti and optical (count-down) manual sampling reminder, USP/EP compliant start routine for baskets, one point calibration for the electronic temperature sensor with documention protocol, RS232 serial interface for external control by the Caleva Windows based dissolution software package to built up offline and online dissolution systems.

Options for the 10ST include: USP/EP compliant automated sample withdrawal and replacement system, electronic temperature sensors for each vessels, upgraded electronics to control a complete online dissolution system including sample transfer pump and fraction collector, UV-resistant vessels, certified and/or gold-plated stirring elements, intrinsic dissolution kit, enhancer cell etc.
