The free-standing DuraShake with digital timer
improves upon the methods of traditional shakers by
offering a more natural, less severe sieving action.
Here, sieves are quietly and effi ciently rotated at
an angle that ensures the sample is spread evenly
across the mesh, and tapped individually by a
series of nylon blocks — a method that closely
matches the action of manual sieving. That means:
•No clamping
•Less sample damage
•Less mesh binding/clogging
To operate, simply place the sieves in the chamber,
tilt back, close door, select sieve size and set
timer. The machine stops when fi nished, and also
features a door safety shut-off.
The DuraShake accepts up to ten 8" (203mm)
diameter by 2" (50.8mm) high or six 12" (305mm)
by 3" (76.2mm) high standard test sieves and cover.
