Type D: For Hard Rubber and Plastics The Models 307L Durometer is designed to measure the indentation hardness of materials such as hard rubber, plastics, acrylic, delrin, kevlar, pvc, nylon and lexan, epoxies, and other similar Type D materials. It is built to meet or exceed current ASTM D2240 and ISO 868 specifications, and can be used either with a test stand or as a hand-held unit. The classic style model 307L Durometer comes complete with carrying case, test block and a magnetic max hand that holds the peak reading until reset. The durometer can be used either with a test stand, hand-held or with the constant load weight. Please refer to the stand selection guide for the appropriate accessories.
