This general-purpose optical table is an economical choice for most budget-constrained research applications or any application where only broadband damping is necessary. Even with its economical price, the ECONOPLANE offers the same construction as the 5100H ValuPlane, including our proprietary epoxy-bonded steel honeycomb core, ferromagnetic stainless steel top skin and carbon steel bottom skin, which offer superb rigidity and stability. The only difference between the 5100 and the 5100H is the thinner top and bottom skins featured on the ECONOPLANE.
