Model Transferpette
![]() |
The Transferpette® electronic combines
the innovation of the Transferpette® with the convenience and automation
of motorized, electronic pipettes. The result is an accurate, ergonomic
instrument for use in most laboratory applications. It is available in three
volume ranges for reliable dispensing of volumes from 2µL to 1000µL
with an autoclavable pipette shaft.
FEATURES
|
ALSO FEATURES
Bright, Clear LCD Screen
All parameters are clearly displayed with letters, symbols, and numbers for easy reference by both left and right-handed users.
Soft Touch Pipetting Key
Greatly reduces pipetting forces and improves accuracy and precision.
Rechargeable Battery
Powers over 4000 pipetting cycles and allows operation during charging. The Transferpette® electronic includes a controlled discharge-recharge cycle program that extends battery life.
Unique Tip Cone
Unique 2-component tip cone design features a resilient EPDM surface comolded over a rigid core. This greatly reduces tip-mounting and ejection forces while ensuring an excellent seal with most major brands of tips.
Dedicated Controls
Each function has a dedicated control to reduce inadvertent volume changes or tip ejection.
Autoclavable Pipette Shaft
The pipette shaft may be unscrewed from the instrument and autoclaved for use in sterile applications.
Adjustable Finger Rest
The adjustable finger rest adapts the instrument to different hand sizes.
Interchangeable Tip Adapters
200µL and 1000µL pipettes are supplied with three interchangeable tip adapters that ensure the best possible fit for a wide variety of tips.
Soft EPDM Surface
Simultaneously reduces tip-mounting forces while ensuring an excellent seal.
FIVE OPERATING MODE
Pipetting (PIP Mode)
A previously set volume is aspirated into the pipette tip and then discharged.
Mixing of Samples (PIPmix Mode)
Program for mixing liquids. The sample is repeatedly aspirated and discharged and the number of cycles is displayed.
Reverse Pipetting (revPIP Mode)
Program especially designed for greater accuracy when pipetting liquids with a high viscosity, high vapor pressure or low surface tension.
Dispensing (DISP Mode)
Program for the dispensing of liquids in a series of equal steps. A volume, which has been aspirated, is dispensed in smaller aliquots.
Pipetting for Electrophoresis (GEL Mode)
Program for loading of electrophoresis gels. A previously set sample volume is aspirated with an adjustable speed and then discharged very slowly. Not available with 1000µL instruments.
| INNOVATIVE ERGONOMICS | |
| Reduce Pipetting Strain! | |
| From the very beginning, the development of the Transferpette® electronic was driven by the goal of reducing the strain of pipetting without sacrificing performance. It was that focus that led to such innovations as the pipettes unique nose cone and adjustable finger rest.To better understand the ergonomic benefits of the Transferpette® electronic, examine the graphs below. They compare the energy and force required for operation of the Transferpette® electronic (F) with that of the mechanical Transferpette® (A) and four popular pipettes from other manufacturers. Pipette E is a competitve electronic pipette. | |

| NOTE: Mechanical pipettes (A-D) and electronic pipettes (E-F) from well-known manufacturers were tested with a nominal volume of 200µL. All pipettes are equipped with mechanical ejectors and only standard tips were used. | |
EASY CALIBRATION
Laboratories certified to ISO 9001, accredited to ISO/IEC 17025, or working according to GLP/GMP guidelines, must regularly calibrate testing equipment, and adjust as necessary. The Transferpette® electronic allows you to make simple and quick adjustments without any additional tools. The symbol CAL in the display shows that an adjustment was made.

* Final test values relative to the nominal capacity (maximum
volume) indicated on the instrument, obtained when instrument and distilled
water are equilibrated at the ambient temperature (68 F/20 C), and with smooth
operation.
