SP-0 Mass Splitter is designed for large volume bulk aggregate samples up to 400lb (182kg) (ASTM D 75) or raw coal samples to 300lb (136kg) (ASTM D 2234). Other high-volume samples with particle sizes up to 6in (152mm) can be accurately reduced with this rugged divider. 60° chute slopes are standard. Lever-release hopper holds up to 3.5ft3 (99.1L) of material for precisely controlled splitting. Two pans on each side are included to receive the split sample, and extra pans are available as SPA-400. Material in both pans on a side is treated as a single sample.
