Designed for rapid, linear separation of nucleic acids. The Gobi™ is a semi-bufferless system using two patented disposable reservoir systems. The system can run a standard ladder in 15 minutes. Quick and easy to use, cast in place technology with two foam reservoirs. Just pour Agarose solution, no buffer over lay! Run time is usually 15-20 minutes for complete run. UVT gel bed can be removed for viewing.

  • Patented unique disposable reservoir system easy-to use no buffer required, just place and pour!
  • Patented gravity electrical connector eliminates sample disturbance during setup and increases user safety by disconnecting the power to the unt when the lid is removed.
  • UV-transmittant casting tray with multiple comb slots allows maximum sample capacity by using several combs, or maximum running lengths with a single comb. Enabes user to view ethidium bromide stained gels.
  • Precision-made Delrin combs are available in a wide range of thickness and thoot configurations to accomodate many samples or large sample volumes
  • Safety-tipped power cords with retractable sleeve and plastic tip to reduce electric hazard
  • Precision machined acrylic construction resist cracking and warping
  • Operators manual provides protocols for DNA and SNA electrophoresis
