  • Mice & Rats: Draw blood from the Superficial Temporal Vein (Facial Vein) or use the Submandibular Vein
  • Chickens: Draw blood from the Brachial Vein (Wing Vein)
  • Pigs: Draw blood from the Ear Vein
  • Primates: Draw blood from the Foot or Finger Tip
  • Tattooing identification: Permanent humane toe I.D.

Point Lenghts
  • For mice:
    3 mm – For only 1 or 2 drops
    4 mm –Under 2 months
    5 mm – 2 to 6 months
    5.5 mm – Over 6 months

  • For rats:
    5.5 mm or 6 mm – Under 3 months
    6 mm or 7 mm – 3 to 4 months
    7 mm or 8 mm – Over 5 months

  • For chikens: – 4 mm

  • For pigs: – 5 mm

  • For primates: – 3 mm or 4 mm

  • Tattoo identification: – 3 mm
