These detailedelectronic nautical charts look just like paper charts when displayed on your GARMIN chartplotter. Detail includes spot soundings, intertidal zones, wrecks, port plans, restricted areas and more. BlueChart cartography is object-oriented, meaning you can pan to an object on the map and instantly view information about that point.

GARMIN serves up this additional cartography in two forms - preprogrammed micro data cards or MapSource CDs contain detailed maps that can be downloaded to blank data cards of directly to units that don't accepts data cards, such as the GPSMAP 162. A variety of CDs will offer detail that includes offshore cartography, fishing information, inland features, topographic maps, locations of services and attractions and much more.
