The Large Capacity Glassware Washers provide efficient high-volume washing of virtually any type of labware. Three models are available, which are identical in construction and features, but vary in size. They are designed to hold two, four or six 12.5" x 12.5" glassware baskets and can accept spindle racks for effective cleaning of narrow-neck glassware such as Erlenmeyer or volumetric flasks.
Triple Plumbing System Most glassware washers utilize a single plumbing system for tap water, detergent water and deionized final rinse water. Mineral deposits and detergent residues can build up in the plumbing tubes and thereby contaminate the final rinse cycle. To help alleviate this problem Our Large Capacity Washers incorporate independent plumbing systems for each water type. This system helps to ensure that the final result is gleaming, contamination-free glassware.
Traveling Spray Tube System A typical glassware washer utilizes a rotary spray arm (like household dishwashers) which spins to create a random wash pattern. This type of system does not always provide consistent "corner -to corner" washing results. Our Large Capacity Washers incorporate laserdrilled spray tubes for precision cleaning. These tubes travel back and forth directly beneath the glassware creating a moving "wall of water". Spray tubes are grouped in two sets of three (one for tap water, wash water and Di water in each group). This provides complete cornerto-corner washing coverage for consistent results. In addition, these spray tubes are easily removed, without tools, for quick cleaning.
