Last year  we launched the Navigator Series of Portable Scales with the popular NVT models. The only scale in its class with touchless sensors, the Navigator NVT created an ingenious new solution to meet your customers’ portable weighing needs in the lab, in the field, on the manufacturing line or in the home office.

Another OHAUS innovation, we are now expanding the Navigator line up with 6 new NV models for small footprint portable use, and 6 new models of the Navigator NVL series for benchtop use:

• Two New Durable Form Factors: The original Navigator NVT is now joined with a smaller Navigator NV line with a 7.5” x 5.4” pan (except the NV212 which has a 4.7” round pan) and a Navigator NVL line with a 7.6” x 8” pan. These lines round-out the Navigator series and complement the Navigator NVT’s 9” x 6.9” platform, giving you three new products to fit your customer’s portable weighing needs.
• More Precise Readabilities from 0.01g to 1g: These two new lines push the resolutions of the Navigator series up to 21,000d – the Navigator NV adds six new models with readabilities from 0.01g to 0.5g and the Navigator NVL adds four models with readability under 1g and two models with higher capacity weighing to 1g.
• More Capacity Choices from 510g to 20kg: The Navigator NV covers 210g to 5,100g while the NVL spans from a 510g model up to a 20kg model. Bracketing the NVT models, these NV and NVL models bring you more options for your customers where precision, durability and ease-of-use is a must.

• Touchless Sensors: Two sensors on either side of the Navigator can be individually configured to control up to 36 combinations of zero, print, tare and specific weighing mode functions.
  
  
• Fast 1 Second Stabilization Time: All Navigators are designed to accurately stabilize in less than one second, improving efficiency, productivity and throughput for your customers.
  
  
• Superior Overload Protection: the Navigator is also designed with a superior overload protection system that allows the scale to withstand loads up to 400% of rated capacity. With the integrated shipping lock, the Navigators are built to meet the tough requirements of portable weighing in a range of situations.
  
  
• Multiple Application Modes: Each Navigator has six weighing modes including % weighing, parts counting, check weighing, display hold and a function for accumulating and totalizing weights. Also fully configurable in the weighing units you need – g, kg, lb, oz (decimal or 1/8 fractional), lb,:oz, ozt, grains, dwt, ct and 6 more – the Navigator is yet another great OHAUS product that you can quickly configure to meet your customers’ exact operational needs.
  
  
• Expanded Connectivity: Accessories are available to allow the Navigator to communicate using either RS232, USB or Ethernet connections, all easily installed by your service team or by your customer in remote situations.
