Profile™-1 has been developed by New Horizons Diagnostics Corporation and extensively tested by the USDA to provide a rapid and sensitive detection system for total bacterial contamination of animal carcasses.
Profile™-1 is a hand held, food and hygiene testing system that provides a reliable method of detecting bacteria on carcasses and surrounding surfaces. It monitors for the presence of contamination in minutes with the accuracy of 48-hour culture. The Profile™-1 luminescence-based system utilises a unique Filtravette™ and regent system which provides real-time consistent results to improve food quality.
