TDS Ranger rugged handheld computer
Next generation—still one of a kind

• TDS Ranger adds versatility, more features to its unparalleled reliability and military-grade durability
• The Ranger features ergonomic navigation, alpha and numeric keypads that are easy to use when wearing gloves.
• The Ranger’s color display remains visible in direct sunlight, with powerful illumination for low-light conditions.

Introducing the next-generation TDS Ranger™ rugged handheld computer from Tripod Data Systems. Like the pioneering original, it combines a Windows® OS, an ergonomic keypad and military-grade durability. And thanks to real-world feedback from tens of thousands of users, the next-generation Ranger offers the latest technology and more features in two models: the economical 300X and the powerful 500X. Windows Mobile™ software for Pocket PCs runs thousands of applications. New wireless capabilities let you connect without cables. And with its new CompactFlash (CF) and Secure Digital (SD) slots, you can add multiple accessories and increase data storage. All of which makes the Ranger first in its field—again.
Rugged as ever
You can count on your Ranger in the roughest conditions. It meets rigor-ous MIL-STD-810F standards for drops, vibration, humidity, altitude and extreme temperatures. And with an IP67 rating, the Ranger is impervious to water and dust, keeping your data safe.
Go wireless to expand your options
Stay connected while leaving those bulky cables behind. The Ranger now gives you the option for integrated Bluetooth and 802.11 wireless. You can also use the Ranger’s two CF slots to add GPS, GPRS, digital cameras, bar-code scanners and other CF devices. Using the new SD slot, you can add data storage without sacrificing a CF slot. Plus, you can count on the Ranger to keep your data safe with a CF-Cap™ that’s sealed to keep out water, dirt and dust. Optional CF-Caps accommodate larger devices.
Everything about the Ranger is designed to make it tough on the job—and easy on you.

The rugged Ranger shrugs off harsh outdoor environments and rough weather, keeping your data safe.
Featuring Windows Mobile, the Ranger runs thousands of familiar applications, and it’s easy to transfer data to your PC.
You can use the Ranger’s new features and still get 30 hours of battery life under typical conditions.
