| Rotary Cup Mill-Bleuler |
|
Reliable, precise preparation of pulverent samples |
| The well-knon Bleuler
Mill is used to intensively grind and homogenize laboratory size
samples of geologic, cement, refractory, and ceramic solids to a powder
of analytical fineness in a very short time. Ideal for labs processing
many samples where speed and reproducibility have become a necessity.
A cup containing the sample, a puck, an anvil ring, and a lid is quick-latched
into a dished platform that is held by three rubber columns. A motor,
connected with an elastic coupling, drives the platform in an eccentric
motion, causing the ring and puck to move likewise and crush the sample
by impact and attrition. Simple, safe, and durable. SW : 150 lbs. Available in various electrical modes. The 110 volt models require a few minutes cooling between sample grinds; higher voltages and 3-phase power are recommended for continuous operation. Precise, reproductible results are obtained through the use of the automatic safety timer that stops at any pre-selected period up to six minutes. The grinding sets are size rated by the amount of sample that can be accomodated. The standard sizes are 50g, 100g, and 200g based on 2.5 SpG glass. All three sizes are made of very hard abrasion resistant chrome-steel alloy having a proprietary 70 RC hardness. Also available is a 100g Tungsten Carbide alloy set which is extremely abrasion resistant with virtually no contamination when grinding even the hardest samples. Grinding sets consist of a cup, lid, anvil ring, and puck, except the 50g set which has no anvil ring. Optionally, available is a sound-proof benchtop chamber, constructed of steel and an acoustical lining, that reduces noise to a conversation level. Equipped with latches, air springs for lid, and rubber cushioning for lid and base. Mills with single phase motor with electronic control unit, Type PRS-3, with overheat protection complete with 1 grinding set 100 g (Type M39) |
