| Seres |
| FEATURES |
|
| GPS, WAAS AND EGNOS |
| The Seres is a smart GPS,WAAS, and EGNOS receiver and antenna solution in a single compact, convenient enclosure. It is designed for a variety of applications including Precision Agriculture, GIS, and Mapping. |
| HIGH PERFORMANCE GPS |
| The Seres uses a new GPS engine architecture that provides
faster startup and acquisition times. With a current almanac and ephemeris,
the SERES will provide a position within 35 seconds. If its been powered
within the last couple hours, the Seres will provide a position within approximately
20 seconds. Unlike many other smart antenna products, the Seres delivers high accuracy, and high position update rates with low power consumption. |
| SBAS SUPPORT |
| The US Federal Aviation Administrations Wide Area
Augmentation System (WAAS) is now undergoing rigorous final testing for
its Initial Operation Capability. Other WAAS compatible space-based augmentation systems are also under development, such as the European Geostationary Navigation Overlay System (EGNOS) and the Japanese MTSAT Satellite-based Augmentation System (MSAS), among others. The Seres provides compatibility for each of these free GPS augmentations. |
| INTERFACE |
| The Seres features a combination power/data cable that is available in a variety of terminations to suit your needs. The cable interface provides power input to the antenna and features dual serial ports, an event marker input, 1 PPS output, and signal outputs intended for illuminating remote status LED indicators. |
| COAST TECHNOLOGY |
| COASTTM technology allows the Seres to use old correction data for up to 30 minutes or more without seriously affecting the quality of your positioning. Using COASTTM, the Seres is less likely to be affected by differential outages due to differential signal blockages, weak signal, or interference. No other product offers this flexibility. |
