| LONG-TERM SAMPLE RETENTION | ||
| For ling-term storage (up to two years), the Whirl-Pak Retain Bag will protect the sample and save money and space. Made from a barrier film which is a laminate of polyethylene and polypropylene. It has extremely low permeability for oxygen and moisture. It is designed to hold liquids, semi-solids, or solids; samples may be stored at whatever temperature is required. These bags are radiation sterilized and have a blue tape to separate them from the regular Whirl-Pak® bags. |

| Resins used in the extrusion of film for Whirl-Pak® Bags are FDA approved. Bags are manufactured in accordance with the requirements for manufacturers of single service containers for milk and milk products. Capacity is measured in fluid ounces when bag is closed and tab folded over three times. Volume and dimensions are approximate; bags should not be used at temperatures above 180°F (82°C). | ||

| ENVIRONMENTAL SURFACE SAMPLING | ||
| The Speci-Sponge is for surface sampling. 18 oz./540 mL capacity 11.5 cm x 23 cm 2.5 mil thick. The Whirl-Pak® Speci-Sponge® bag is designed for environmental surface sampling of work areas, equipment, animal carcasses (USDA MegaRegs), and any other place where testing for Listeria, Salmonella, E.coli and other foodborne pathogens is required. |

| NUCLEAR BAG | ||
| These bags are specially designed to protect dosimeter from moisture and contamination when working in a nuclear power plant or other hazardous area. The bold, red stripes make the bag highly visible so it will be seen quickly if it falls into the cooling water. The dosimeter can be read easily through the clear polyethylene, so there is no need to remove it.
