Gilson's TSA-167 Clean-N-Weigh offers the fastest and most efficient method of processing large coarse aggregate samples for particle size tests. After separation in a Testing Screen or Test-Master, screen trays are dumped and cleaned in the Clean-N-Weigh. Material is collected below in the included TSA-162 Chute-end Handling Pan, which rests on a suitable platform scale. Accumulated fraction weights are read directly from the tared scale and recorded. When using an electronic balance with RS-232 communication port, data can be fed directly to a PC with Gilson’s SSA-16 SieveWare software (described elsewhere) for immediate calculation and generation of finished report. The time required to produce a completed particle size analysis report is easily cut in half, and the data can be distributed electronically or by paper. Clean-N-Weigh prolongs screen tray life by reducing handling damage to tray flanges.

Sturdy all-steel construction with tray support rods and notched hand slots that are rubber lined and support legs that have 3" (76mm) adjustable feet for leveling. Adjustable shelf allows convenient placement of platform balance and emptying of chute.
