TESTEX TAPE - ELCOMETER 122
Elcometer 122 Testex Tape consist of foam with a non-compressible backing. The foam side is rubbed onto a surface providing a permanent mould of the surface profile.

    THICNESS GAUGE - ELCOMETER 124
    The Elcometer 124 Thickness Gauge measures the depth of any material which can be accessed from both sides, in particular Elcometer 122 Testex Tape.
  • Measures peak-to-valley height of a surface profile formed in Elcometer 122 Testex Tape.
  • Available in both metric and imperial versions.

    * In summary, ASTM D 4417 Method C requires the appropriate tape to be rubbed onto the surface. The thickness of the tape, when the thickness of the backing has been subtracted, gives the peak-to-valley height of the surface. Measurements should be made at an agreed series of locations, which characterises the surface. The Elcometer 122 and Elcometer 124 can be used in this way.
