    Use in mildly corrosive waters, in marine waters and in water with large amounts of suspended solids or adhesive colloidal solids. Larger bottles are good for collecting small plankton. The wide-open mouth collects a true water sample with no contamination from other water levels. Water flow is not restricted during descent - desirable for collecting plankton, floating sediments and for metallic ion avoidance.

    Your choice of transparent acrylic or more durable opaque PVC. Most customers use only one vertical Beta™ (or Alpha™) on a line when sampling. An ocean or limnological thermometer can be mounted to acrylic Beta™ bottles. Not suitable for series sampling (having multiple bottles on one line, for this application please see our 1920-M52 bottle). This sampler requires a messenger and line (not included, except in kits) for operation.
