Designed to introduce concepts of water pollution detection, this versatile outfi t includes both fi eld test procedures and overhead projection demonstrations for 16 water quality factors: alkalinity, ammonia, carbon dioxide, chloride, chlorine, chromium, copper, cyanide, total dissolved solids, hardness, iron, nitrate, pH, phosphate, salinity, and sulfi de. Field testing procedures employ special two-standard color comparators or direct reading titrators. Test procedures can also be performed in three-cell and six-cell inert plastic demonstration stages that permit clear, magnifi ed projection of colorful test reactions.Includes manual of instructions, test result report forms and two handbooks: Our Environment Battles Water Pollution and Investigating Water Problems.
