Uniflow Radioisotope Hood is specifically engineered for applications invloving radiochemicals. Available in 4', 5' and 6' widths.
Uniflow Radioisotope Hood has been designed to provide as a safe work enclosure for work with radiochemicals. The fume hood interior is constructed of type 304 stainless steel to prevent absorption of radioactive and corrosive chemicals.
The fume chamber and integral work surface are welded seamless construction with all coved corners which reduces the chance of chemical buildup and provides for simplified decontamination. Work surfaces with integral cupsink is reinforced to support heavy isotope containers and shielded materials. Stainless steel baffle is removable for easy of cleaning. The Radioisotope Hood features a conventional airflow design where the operator can directly control the face velocity by adjusting the sash height. This hood is specifically designed for moderate to high energy level procedures invloving materials with longer half-lives.
Radioisotope fume hood with welded seamless type 304 stainless steel interior, integral work surface with cupsink, and removable stainless steel baffle. Equipped with two remote control service fixtures and one remote control cold water gooseneck faucet. U.L. approved electrical components to include two vapor proof incandescent light fixtures with switch, one 115 volt outlet and one 230 volt outlet. Electrical components are factory mounted, ready for field wiring.
