UltraLum UV Crosslinkers are supplied with corrosion resistant stainless steel slide out sample trays for easy clean-up. Patented electronic ballasts and universal power supply increases UV lamp intensity and minimizes processing times compared to typical magnetic ballasted units. This high frequency operation also improves unit efficiency, extending tube life and lowering power consumption. Microprocessor controlled photo-feedback mode automatically delivers up to 999,900 μJ/ cm2 while compensating for variations in UV lamp intensity. CE, CSA and FCC approved.

Using UV energy to crosslink DNA or RNA to nitrocellulose, nylon or nylon-reinforced membranes provides many advantages over oven baking. Most protocols require only seconds of 254nm UV to complete the transfer process that would otherwise require two hours at 90 degrees C.

All Crosslinkers have 100-240V/50-60Hz universal power supplies and are CE, CSA and FCC approved.
