These tubes are designed for storing biological material, human or animal cells. They can range in temperatures as low as -196 ° C. They should be used only in the gas phase of liquid nitrogen. The long hood facilitates aseptic handling, fast and efficient design that allows tightening or loosening with a single tower and a 1¼ internal thread design that will prevent any possible contamination. The cap also features a silicone gasket manufactured exclusively fitted inside the cap to ensure a sealed assured any temperature, even at low cryogenic temperatures. Lip designed inside the cap provides a seal for the CRYOVIAL®, even at very low temperatures.
Caps and pipes are both made of polypropylene having the same coefficient of expansion which increases the sealing qualities of these tubes to changing temperatures. The tubes are equipped with white inscription strips for the identification of the samples and may be color coded by using a Capinsert ™ (T312 Series). However, note that no Capinsert ™ is available for T310-10A model.
The CRYOVIAL® Simport is compatible with most storage systems.
Only the rounded tip to the tube may be centrifuged, until 17,000g. They are sterilized by gamma radiation and are packaged in a protected single sealed bag, resealable bags safety lock 100.
