|Product Code:||DSP100 from Vaisala|
The Vaisala Surface Patrol DSP100 with display is a mobile temperature sensor for the detection of possible negative temperatures of the pavement. It comprises an infrared sensor for noncontact measurement of the temperature of the floor surface and also measure the temperature of the air. Easy to use, this is a particularly valuable tool for any type of operator, ranging from large organizations such as transport services to smaller companies only a few trucks.
Mounted outside the vehicle, the DSP100 continuously monitors the temperature of the road surface and instantly informs about the conditions existing at the surface of the road. The atmospheric temperature sensor and wiring are separated, it gives precise information regardless of its point of installation provided not to be exposed to direct sunlight. It provides accurate measurements in real time, and is thus a reliable way to collect information on the roadway. The DSP100 can be calibrated in the field, ensuring you always get the most accurate values. In addition, the tapered construction of the floor sensor protects the sensor from splashes and winter elements can degrade measurement accuracy.
