The CryoMill has been specially designed for cryogenic grinding. Thanks to the integrated cooling system, the grinding jar is continually cooled with liquid nitrogen before and during grinding. The sample is embrittled and volatile components are retained. With automatic charging system "Autofill", the dose of nitrogen added always correspond exactly to the amount required to maintain the temperature at 196 ° C. Aggressive grinding impact is particularly effective. The mill is characterized by a very large job security since the "Autofill" system prevents direct contact with liquid nitrogen. Due to its flexibility of use (cryogenic grinding, dry and wet) the CryoMill is the ideal device for grinding sample quantities up to 20 ml.

Operating principle
Grinding bowl CryoMill described oscillatory movements in a horizontal plane. Due to their inertia, the balls that are inside to impact with high energy on the sample material at the rounded ends causing crushing it. Thanks to the integrated cooling system, the grinding jar is continually cooled with liquid nitrogen before and during grinding. The sample is embrittled and volatiles are retained.
