The GL500, Global multichannel datalogger, is the test addition to our line of rugged remote recording strumentation. It features 7 analog channels and 2 igital channels for data recording. The GL500 can ecord over 40,000 readings and has four unique ecording options, fast (10 samples per second), rogrammable interval (1 second to multiple years), garithmic, and exception. The datalogger also has a ample on demand input that triggers a recording of pecial events, such as when a water sampler was riggered, when a door was opened, etc. Daily start and top alarm times can be programmed to limit recording tervals during a day. The GL500 includes Windows and DA software, allowing easy upload of data to a laptop, esktop, or PDA for transfer to a spreadsheet program.
The Global data logger is setup to accept any 4-20 mA ensor. The GL500 provides switched power to the ensors based on the sample interval and sensor warm p time settings. 2-wire and 3-wire sensors can be uickly connected to the datalogger's terminal strip and alibrated via the Global datalogger software. Your ensors can be accessed through dial-out to a remote odem attached to the GL500’s serial communication ort. The datalogger software has online help files that re easily accessed using drop down menus and links to uickly find the answers to your questions.
The data recorder has an optional rugged, lockable and eather-resistant enclosure that can easily be hidden, olted to a post, or secured inside an additional container or added protection from the elements, animals or andals. A 12VDC rechargeable battery and battery harger comes with this option.
